In 2003, after completing his studies at the RGUNG Gubkin Oil and Gas University (Russia), qualified as an Engineer for Drilling Oil and Gas Wells and the Master of Oil and Gas Development. Beginning his career as a drilling engineer in a Russian service company, since 2005 he started working for the international service company Baker Hughes, responsible for various CIS markets, occupying a wide range of roles from the Sales Manager of the Drill Bit Division (Hughes Christensen), Business Development Manager, the segment of Drilling & Valuation (Drilling & Valuation), Sales Manager for Drilling Mud Fluid (or Flushing liquids) to the regional manager (Hughes Christensen) in the Volga-Ural region.
Next In 2012, the service company Halliburton, in which Alexey held several key positions in the Project Management Division: from the Project Manager, having implemented an integrated project for drilling wells at $ 80M, to the Senior Sales Manager in Russia and CIS, and successfully brought to the company additional work volumes of $300-350M. In 2015, Alexey received additional business education at Mays Business School, ATM, Houston.
Since 2017 he has been working for the global consulting company Upstream Lab. The main activity is promotion of Russian producers of oil and gas equipment and suppliers of oilfield services to international markets. The main regions of activity are the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Latin America, CIS countries and the Caspian region.
