He started his career as a legal adviser in TNK-BP, restructured the oil and service block, participated in the merger of BP and TNK assets in Russia.
In 2005, he headed the Schlumberger legal block in Western Siberia, he was responsible for the company's most important negotiations and contracts with key customers in the region (TNK-BP, Rosneft, Lukoil, Surgutneftegaz).
In 2008, he moved to the position of Chief Lawyer of Gazprom International and focused on accompanying Gazprom's oil and gas projects abroad (Europe, Africa, Latin America, Asia). He participated in the implementation of such projects as El-Assel (Algeria), Block 96, 97 (Libya), NiGaz (Nigeria), Ipati and Aqio (Bolivia), Junin (Venezuela).
From 2012 to 2016 he headed the Legal Service of Lukoil in Iraq on the West Qurna 2 project.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law of St. Petersburg University and the Faculty of Economics of Moscow University. Has an MBA. Since 2017, he joined the Upstream Lab team as the Chief Legal Counsel.
